Teacher Outfits for 2025
Share
If you are anything like me, you can easily get stuck wearing the same 6 things in your closet. Which makes sense since teachers oftentimes are thinking of the million of things on their plate. Which is why I want to make it easy for all of my teachers out there to look cute and not feel like you are in a fashion rut.
Teacher outfit #1 - The effortless outfit teacher
For this outfit we have the Sanibel Knit Tank from Alyssum and Co., loose fitting 80’s style jeans from Lucky Brand and wedges (even though you can’t see them, trust me it’s cute).

This is one of my favorite go to outfits as a teacher because it’s easy to look elevated without even really trying. I also love it because in Florida it’s hot 90% of the year and this outfit is perfect for the warmer months.
Teacher outfit #2 - The dress lovin teacher
Being a teacher and a boutique owner has several perks… one of them being that I am extremely picky on what I deem as a good dress. Let me tell you the Perfect Red Midi dress is a GOOD dress. I mean the name says it all. It has cute puff sleeves, a smocked back (very stretchy), flattering silhouette and the best part is POCKETS!

A dress that is figure flattering and has pockets is a big win in my book. Not gonna lie I wear this one multiple times a month because it’s comfortable and I love being able to put my phone in my pocket so I don’t leave it at recess.
Teacher outfit #3 - The cardigan lover
I don’t think I’ve met a teacher that doesn’t love a good cardigan. Who doesn’t want to feel cozy at work?!?! Cardigans are great for a dressed up casual outfit because you can stock up your closet with basic tees, tanks, and jeans or slacks. Then just pop a cute cardigan over it for a fun addition.

One of my favorite cardigans is the Cozy Checkered Cardigan. It’s the perfect amount of oversized, is very soft and has a fun trendy checkered print. This one is great if you usually don’t go for prints because it’s a gorgeous neutral color.
*fashion rule of thumb - if you want to start wearing bold prints try wearing a bold print in a neutral first to get used to it. Or if you want to wear a color you typically don’t wear start small and wear it as an accessory. This is great for venturing out of your comfort zone without having to make a big commitment.
Overall, just remember to have fun with fashion. Don’t feel pressured to have the perfect teacher outfits. Just focus on collecting pieces that you love throughout the school year. Before you know it you will have a closet that you are obsessed with.
